How to download Form 26 AS

Some times it is difficult to get straight forward answer to some of queries. Even after knowing it for once we tend to forget the steps because we need it once a year or with huge gap between the times of using it.

ITR filling is one of those situations. Here we’ll get to know and can bookmark the steps for downloading 26 AS

STEP 1: Go to https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login

STEP 2: In top menu bar look for e-File -> Income Tax Returns -> File Income -> View Form 26 AS

STEP 3: Click Confirm on this Disclaimer popup just to acknowledge that another website will be opened.

STEP 4: On this new website (https://services.tdscpc.gov.in) just select the check box and click Proceed.

STEP 5: Now, please look for the link saying View Tax Credit ( Form 26AS/Annual Tax Statement) and click on it.

STEP 6: On this new page please select your Assessment Year and View As and click on View/Download (Note: some times the buttons behave weird so first click on View/Download and then Export as PDF if you want to get the PDF)
